Sweet Itch tip
05-26-08
I am now using Deosect, amazing stuff works a treat especially on the sweet itch lad. Can reccomend it but do be careful, read the instructions with great care. Make sure you DILUTE never put on a horse undiluted. Will last you forever if applied correctly, horses should be doused in it once monthly, give or take a week with horses with more or less resiliance. Remember to be careful around any areas that have broken skin, this stuff is similar to sheep dip so extremely toxic. Wear protective clothing and a mask, allow to dry before touching the animal. £27 + V.A.T a tin from your local farmers merchant. ALWAYS USE UP DILUTED SOLOUTION WITHIN 24 HOURS, DISREGARD ANY UNUSED SOLOUTION IN A EVIROMENTALLY FRIENDLY FRIENDLY WAY. DONT PUT INTO YOUR WATER SYSTEMS.  Do not spray on face, use a cloth, paying special attention to the eye area.
